India U-19 will be up against arch-rivals Pakistan in the ongoing ACC U-19 Asia Cup 2021-22 at the ICC Academy Ground No 2 on December 25. India vanquished United Arab Emirates in the last game by a massive 154 runs. Opener Harnoor Singh stood out and scored a magnificent century 120 off 130 balls at a healthy strike rate of 92.30. Harnoor pummeled the UAE bowlers and looked in silken touch throughout the course of his knock.

Skipper Yash Dhull also looked in form as he scored a well-compiled half-century. All-rounder Rajvardhan Hangargekar first displayed his hard-hitting ability and scored 48* in just 23 balls at a mesmerizing strike rate of 208.69, and followed it up with a three-wicket haul.

On the contrary, Pakistan came up trumps in a low-scoring affair against Afghanistan in their first game. Pakistani bowlers were at their absolute best in the match against Afghanistan as they restricted their opponents to a paltry 52 runs. Ahmed Khan was the wrecker-in-chief as he picked up three crucial wickets and conceded just 21 runs in his six overs.

Zeeshan Zameer and Awais Ali also bowled well in tandem and picked up two wickets each. Pakistan’s batting looked fairly rusty against Afghanistan and could cause major headaches in the clash against India.
