ICC WTC Points Table: South Africa Climb To 4th Position After Historic Win! Will They Enter Finals?

South Africa emerged victorious in the historic match against Bangladesh by seven wickets within Dhaka, for the first time in ten years gaining a Test victory on Asian soil. It ensured a new alignment at the ICC World Test Championship points table that sees South Africa elevated into automatic contenders for the finals alongside India and Australia.

South Africa Positions Itself Strongly!

Coming from nowhere, this win has catapulted South Africa from the position of sixth in the World Test Championship points table to fourth. The win percentage has now improved from a modest 38.89% to an impressive 47.62%. A second successive win at Chittagong can dramatically increase their chances of reaching the final.

Top Teams In The WTC Points Table

The top three teams in the World Test Championship show India at the top, with a win percentage of 68.06%. Even though India recently lost a game against New Zealand in Bengaluru, that did not change the nation from the top. The Australians are in second position with 62.50% win percentages.
