‘Hum toh baap hai unke’: Sehwag leaves Ganguly laughing as he talks about win against Pakistan on Big B’s KBC

The 13th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati has started taking over the country by storm. Amitabh Bachchan is once again back as the host of the show, moderating the quiz reality series and helping contestants realise their dreams through their cash winnings.

A new addition to the thirteenth season of KBC has been the Shaandaar Shukravar. The Shaandaar Shukravar is a weekly special episode of KBC 13 where celebrity guests from all walks of life will appear on the show to play and win. The winnings will go to the social cause closest to their hearts. According to the new promo, former India skipper and BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly and Virender Sehwag will be the next celebrity guests at the show.

Judging by the promo available on social media, Virender Sehwag will be at his witty best while interacting with the legendary Bollywood star Big B, leaving Ganguly in splits.

During their conversation, Big B is seen asking what will their reaction be when they win against Pakistan. Virender replies that there is a famous dialogue from the 1988 film Shahenshah. As the legendary actor recalls the dialogue, “Rishte main to hum tumhare baap lagte hai ,” Virender cheekily adds, “Hum toh baap hai hi unke,” causing the host to break into laughter.

The host can also be seen asking Sehwag, “Humne suna hai ki aap khelte samay gungunate bohut hai (I have heard you hum a lot while singing),” to which Sehwag cheekily breaks into the popular song, “Chala Jata hoon kisike dhun mein,” before mimicking a shot.

Another funny incident is highlighted when Big B asks the celebrity contestants what would happen if they are fielding and miss a catch. Virender replies that if the coach is Greg Chappell, then there is a song, before breaking into the impromptu number, “Apni to jese tese kat jaegi, aapka kya hoga janabe ali,” while pointing towards Ganguly, leaving both the cricketer and the host in laughter.
