After the likes of Hansal Mehta, Pooja Bhatt and Suniel Shetty, Hrithik Roshan came forward to support Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan in the alleged drug case. The 23-year-old star kid was arrested after Narcotics Control Bureau raided a Goa-bound ship where he was present with his friends.
Along with Aryan, two other accused Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha were sent to NCB custody which is supposed to end today (October 07, 2021). Ahead of the verdict, Hrithik shared a post supporting Aryan and urging him to “own” the experience.
The War actor penned a long caption on Instagram and shared it with a photo of Aryan Khan. However, his support for Shah Rukh’s son has not gone down well with the netizens. Trolls took to his comment section and shared that they did not expect this from him. One user wrote: “Galti ki hai to saja to milni hi chahiye, koi sympathy dikha ne ki jarur nahi hai sir (transl: If he has made a mistake, he should be punished, no need to sympathise with him).
Hrithik’s post for Aryan was a letter wherein he encouraged him to keep his calm and trust the light within. A part of his post read: “You know you are chosen when amidst the chaos you can feel the pressure to hold your own. And I know you must feel it now. The anger, the confusion, the helplessness. Aaah, the very ingredients that are needed to burn the hero out from inside you.”
“I promise you, It’s gonna make sense. Only if you have stared the devil in his eyes and kept your calm. Keep calm. Observe. These moments are the makers of your Tom. And Tom is going to have a brilliant sun shining. But for it, you must go thru the dark. Calm, still, owning your own. And trusting the light. Within. It’s always there” he further assured Aryan.
A couple of days back, Hrithik’s ex-wife Sussanne Khan had also shown support for Aryan and slammed the witch hunt against him. She called about Indian columnist Shobha De who claimed that Aryan’s arrest should be a wake-up call for parents. Sussanne shared that Aryan was at the wrong place, at the wrong time and she stands by SRK and his wife Gauri Khan.
