How To Update Aadhaar Card Details? UIDAI Extends Deadline For Free Updates– Check Details

The UIDAI has again extended the deadline of the free Aadhaar updates on its online platform, myAadhaar. People can make changes on their Aadhaar card till June 14, 2025.

Initially, the deadline to update the Free Aadhaar card was December 14. The government has extended the date to update the details so that people can get more time to add information.

During this time people can update their details without paying a single penny. This service is free of cost.

Updates You Can Do Under Free Service

Under this service, the Aadhaar Card holder can update the demographic information, which includes the name, Date of Birth, address, and contact number of the Aadhaar card holder.

To change things like fingerprints, iris scans, or photographs, one needs to visit the Aadhaar center. To do this the Aadhaar card holder needs to pay a certain amount.

How You Can Update Details?

  1. Visit the official site, which is ‘myAadhaar’.
  2. After this, the Aadhaar cardholder needs to log in by entering the Aadhaar card number and the OTP. The OTP will be received on the number linked to the Aadhaar Card.
  3. The cardholder will need to verify the details and do the correction he wants to do.
  4. The Aadhaar Card holder will need to submit the document as proof of the details that the person is updating.
  5. Then the person needs to send the update request and note the 14-digit number for tracking purposes of the application.
  6. After it gets approved, the final step involves the downloading of an Aadhaar card from the site.
