Housefull will return with its most awaited fifth instalment with Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh returning to the franchise. After creating hype about the movie, the makers have dropped the trailer of Housefull 5 on Tuesday.

The movie has an ensemble cast: Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, Nikitin Dheer, and Akashdeep Sabir.

Housefull 5 is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed Tarun Mansukhani. Its story and screenplay is done by Sajid Nadiadwala. The movie will release on June 6, 2025.

Earlier the comedy film was making headlines regarding ‘copyright claims’ by Mofusion Studios over the song ‘Laal Pari’ and the teaser disappeared from YouTube days after its release. Yo Yo Honey Singh then provided a written declaration confirming he is the sole rights holder of the track and has exclusively licensed these rights to Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. With crucial evidence, Sajid Nadiadwala proceeded with legal action. The legal notices was delivered on May 12, demanding YouTube to re upload the teaser or a Rs 25 crore defamation suit. 

Also, according to sources at Pinkvilla, Sajid Nadiadwala has submitted not one, but two different versions of the comic caper to the CBFC. An insider close to the project revealed, “Housefull 5 is a one-of-its-kind comic thriller. To preserve the element of surprise and mystery, the producer submitted two distinct versions of the film to the CBFC. Interestingly, both versions were reviewed by the board members and have been granted U/A certification.”
