Former Indian cricketer Robin Uthappa has been entrusted with the responsibility to lead Team India in the Hong Kong Sixes 2024, scheduled to be played from 1 to 3 November at the Tin Kwong Road Cricket Ground. Former big names like Kedar Jadhav, Manoj Tiwary, and Stuart Binny would accompany Uthappa in the six-a-side event. Officially declared on 12 October, The Hong Kong Cricket Sixes, which will be held after a two-year gap since 2017, it will witness 12 countries competing in a cracker of a format that will be fast and crammed. The promise of an exhilarating style of cricket with shorter innings and a much more aggressive approach makes each of the six-a-side teams very alluring.

The total matches that comprise the tournament format are 12 group-stage matches, six Bowl Matches, and quarterfinals. Semifinals for Plate and main draws are held on November 3, which will eventually lead to Bowl Final, Plate Final, and Cup Final on the same day.
