Team India will be playing against Australia in the second Test of the five-match series at the Adelaide Oval ground from December 6. Rohit Sharma and Co already lead the five-match series by a margin of 1-0 and gave an absolute hammering to the hosts. Ahead of the IND vs AUS 2nd Test, the Indian team is currently playing a pink ball practice match against Prime Minister’s XI at the Manuka Oval ground in Canberra. All the 19 Indian players who are part of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy squad can participate in the match. However, the Indian team management tried to give a big message for the Adelaide Test when the team sheets appeared after the toss.

KL Rahul And Yashasvi Jaiswal To Open In Adelaide

Rohit Sharma who is a conditional opener, placed himself at number five whereas KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal were the first two batters, who also opened during the first Test match in Perth. If such happens in the Adelaide Test as well this can will surely be a big statement. Rohit known for being a ‘leader’ can bat at number five if there is a need for the team. The right-handed batter has batter started off his international by batting in the middle and lower order. However, he tasted success in international cricket when he began to open the innings from 2013.

While the Indian team will have a winning momentum behind them on the other hand, Australia will be certainly under a lot of pressure. The Aussies were given an absolute hammering in the first Test match played in Perth and with key pacer Josh Hazlewood missing out from the second match, they will need to regroup as a team quickly. Top Indian batters have regained their form which includes KL Rahul, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli.
