Actor-politician Pawan Kalyan has returned to the big screen with his new movie ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’. Despite the hype surrounding the film, the movie has received mixed reactions from the audiences and has witnessed a significant drop in numbers after a strong opening. Check out the box office report of ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu Box Office Collection Day 5:

After a strong opening with Rs 12.75 crore from premiere shows and an impressive Rs 34.75 crore on Day 1, the film saw a steep 76.98% drop on Day 2, collecting Rs 8 crore. However, it recovered slightly on Day 3 with Rs 9.15 crore and Rs 10.6 crore on Day 4. But collections again fell steeply on Day 5, dropping by over 78%.

According to Sacnilk’s early estimates, the film collected Rs 2.25 crore on Day 5. With this, the total box office collection stands at approximately Rs 77.50 crore across all languages. The Telugu version continues to dominate the numbers, contributing the lion’s share of the earnings and despite the fluctuations, the film has maintained a solid total in its first five days.

The movie faced several delays after it was announced in 2020. While speaking to The Hindu, Pawan Kalyan talked about why ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ faced delays. He revealed, “Director Krish Jagarlamudi approached us with a high-concept story that we all liked. The film faced delays during the pandemic, and later, I got busy with my political career. Though Krish stepped back due to various reasons, Rathnam and Jyothi Krishna, who took up the task of direction, were relentless and ensured that the film was completed.”

About Hari Hara Veera Mallu:

The plot is set in the Mughal era and focuses on Veera Mallu, who is tasked with a mission to steal the Kohinoor from the Mughals.

Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and AM Jyothi Krishna, Hari Hara Veera Mallu also stars Bobby Deol, Nidhhi Agerwal, Nargis Fakhri, Nora Fatehi, and Satyaraj in pivotal roles. Pawan Kalyan is seen in the titular role. Its music is composed by M. M. Keeravani.
