Hamas carries out mass public executions, brutally kills 8 Gazans on streets amid Trump’s warning

Amid US President Donald Trump’s warning to disarm Hamas, the group is reportedly carrying out mass public killings in Gaza to hold on to control of the Palestinian enclave. Videos showing Hamas’ brutality are being widely shared online. After the US-brokered truce with Israel, Hamas also clashed with other armed Palestinian groups to maintain its grip on the Gaza Strip.

The disturbing footage shows eight men labelled by Hamas as “collaborators and outlaws” being executed in public. In the video, the blindfolded men kneel in the street as gunmen wearing Hamas’ signature green headbands shoot them.

The group members surrounding the bodies can be heard chanting ‘Allahu Akbar’. In a statement, Hamas, without providing evidence, said the victims were “criminals and collaborators with Israel”.

After the IDF pulled out, Hamas moved swiftly to reclaim control of Gaza, going after the “clans,” or family-based armed groups that had grown stronger during the fighting.

Trump’s warning to Hamas

US President Donald Trump on Tuesday stated that Hamas would be required to surrender its weapons under the terms of the recently negotiated peace agreement, warning that the US would take action if it failed to do so.

“They’re going to disarm, because they said they were going to disarm,” Trump said. “And if they don’t disarm, we will disarm them.” “They know I’m not playing games,” he added.

Trump made the remarks during a bilateral lunch with Argentinian President Javier Milei at the White House. The meeting came shortly after the US government announced a USD 20 billion financial support package to help stabilise Argentina’s economy.
