There’s not a shadow of a doubt when anyone says that Govinda is an all-time entertainer. He is a powerful dancer, his lip-synching skills are beyond brilliance, dialogue delivery can only leave you mesmerized and his mere screen presence is enough to leave his fans in awe. 

Govinda arrived on The Kapil Sharma Show along with his wife Sunita Ahuja. His entry was just as wow as him and during the episode, Hero No.1 along with his wife were a laughing riot. Not only did they share the sweetest things about each other, but also ensured to leave everyone in splits. 

During the episode, Kapil went on to ask Govinda about his working experience with Amitabh Bachchan in Bade Miyan Chota Miyan. Govinda went on to state that he went up to Big B in the very beginning and spoke about finding the difficulty to be on time on a set. 

Govinda went on to then say, “Bachchan saab ke saat jis waqt film ki thi maine, pehle din kehe diya ‘sir main kabhi time par nahi aata hoon aur aap mashoor hai ki time par aate hain. Tho please zara dekhiye kahi aapke cheere chapate log hain, ki band baja de, it’s very tough. Bachchan saab ki ek khasiyat hain ki woh kabhi bhi shabd ke khilaf nahi jate. Aap shayad hi unke muh se sun lege ki mere bare mein kuch bura kaha ho. Never. Kabhi nahi.” 

(Translation: The time when I did a movie with Bachchan Sir, I told him on the first day that I can’t be on time and you’re known for your punctuality. So please just look into it, because it’s very tough. Bachchan Sir is famous for not saying anything out of turn. You’ll never hear him say anything bad about anyone.)

He then goes on to say, “mujhe lagta hai, bahut zyada unchai par jo log aa jate hai, ishwar ne unhe jo pradhan kiya hai, usi wajah se pahuch pate hai. Abhi bhi hath jodthe hai. Shaq hota hai aisi sharafat par.”

(Translation: People who reach such a level of fame are bestowed by god’s blessings. He still folds his hands in gratitude.)
