Bollywood actor Govinda and his wife, Sunita Ahuja, have been making headlines recently after their divorce rumours caught attention. Fans want to know if they will end their 37-year marriage or not. Govinda’s lawyer, Mr Lalit Bindal, shared that Sunita filed for divorce six months ago. However, he also mentioned that the couple has worked through their issues, and everything is okay now.

The couple’s close friend, Bindal, reconfirms and assures their fans that their marriage of 37 years will remain strong, saying, “still going strong”. 

What Bindal Said?

In an interview with India Today, Lalit Bindal said that although Sunita filed for divorce, they worked through their problems and are now back together. He also mentioned that they travelled to Nepal to celebrate the New Year, where they performed a puja at the Pashupatinath Temple. Bindal said, “Everything is fine between them now. Such things happen between couples, but they are going strong and will always be together,”

Krushna Abhishek, Govinda’s nephew, previously stated that divorce is not an option. He said, “Not possible. They will never do this.” Arti Singh, Govinda’s niece, dismissed the rumours in an interview with News18, describing them as “false.” She further said, “These are just speculations. Their bond is so strong, and they’ve built a loving relationship over the years. How can they get divorced? It’s completely untrue. People should stop spreading misinformation about their personal lives,”

Govinda and Sunita Ahuja married in March 1987. They announced their marriage after their daughter, Tina, was born in 1988. Later, they welcomed a son, Yashvardhan, in 1997.
