Uttar Pradesh, the fourth-largest state in the country in terms of area, is undergoing various developmental projects. The state will soon receive a new airport in Noida.

A link will be created between Jewar Airport and the Ganga Expressway, For this a new expressway will be made from Bulandshahr. The government has allocated Rs 1,000 crore for the development of this project. The road will be linked 24 km earlier via Yamuna Expressway. The estimated cost of this will be Rs 4,415 crore. Once completed, it will provide faster access to Jewar Airport for residents of Meerut and Bulandshahr while also benefiting users of the Purvanchal and Bundelkhand Expressways, as reported by Navbharat Times.

The planned 76-kilometer link expressway will serve as a crucial connection between the Ganga Expressway and its other terminus. The Agra-Lucknow Expressway, along with the Purvanchal Expressway and the under-construction Ganga Expressway, currently crosses Uttar Pradesh from west to east. Additionally, the future construction of the Farrukhabad Link Expressway will establish a connection between the Bundelkhand Expressway and the Ganga Expressway. The under-construction Jewar Airport, located near the Yamuna Expressway, will have seamless connectivity to the Ganga Expressway. This new link road will facilitate smooth travel across the state by integrating various expressways.

The anticipated increase in traffic on the Bundelkhand and Purvanchal Expressways necessitates the development of 12 e-way hubs. Experts have identified four locations for development along the Bundelkhand Expressway and eight sites along the Purvanchal Expressway. The budget includes Rs 72 crore for e-way hubs on the Bundelkhand Expressway and Rs 144 crore for those on the Purvanchal Expressway.

A provision of Rs 800 crore has been made in the budget to strengthen the Agra-Lucknow Expressway.
