India’s interim captain and Player Of The Match of the Perth Test, Jasprit Bumrah experienced drastic change of dynamics when Australia’s great off-spin, Nathon Lyon approached star pacer Jasprit Bumrah for his Autograph. Nathon Lyon bowled a total of 44 overs with only 2 wickets in both the innings and gave away 119 runs in total.

Bumrah’s match haul of 8 for 72 brought India back when they had their backs to the wall after being dismissed for just 150 in their first innings on the bouncy Optus Stadium track. But Bumrah, who was leading the side in the absence of Rohit Sharma took five wickets (5 for 30) to help his team bowl out the Aussies for 104.

The India national cricket team was able to achieve a memorable win in the IND vs AUS 1st Test played at the Optus Stadium in Perth. The Indian team routed the mighty Aussies by a margin of 295 runs while defending a total of 534 runs in the second innings. Indian captain Jasprit Bumrah, Virat Kohli and Yashasvi Jaiswal proved out to be the heroes for the Indian team and helped them create history in Perth. This was the first time, Team India won a Test match in Perth after 2008. The visitors have now taken a 1-0 lead in the five-match series and would look forward to continue the same momentum further.
