Qatar will invest $10 billion in India in infrastructure, technology, manufacturing, food security, logistics, hospitality and other sectors. 4.0 Magnitude Earthquake Shakes Delhi-NCR

Delhi NCR experienced earthquake tremors on on February 17, with the National Center for Seismology (NCS) reporting a magnitude of 4.0. The earthquake occurred in New Delhi at a depth of five kilometers, according to NCS. The tremors were recorded at 5.36 am.

In a significant move, the Supreme Court on February 18 barred YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, comedian Samay Raina—host of the ‘India’s Got Latent’ show—and content creator Apoorva Mukhija from airing any new shows until further notice. The court’s intervention came while hearing Allahbadia’s plea to consolidate multiple FIRs filed against him in different states, including Maharashtra and Assam. The controversy stems from his controversial ‘parental sex’ remark made during an episode of Samay Raina’s YouTube show, which has sparked legal action and widespread debate.

Indian origin Kash Patel made history as the first Hindu and Indian-American to lead US’s Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Patel, a fierce Trump loyalist, was narrowly confirmed in the position by a 51-49 vote in the US Senate. Two Republican senators, Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski, joined all Democrats in voting against Patel to head the 38,000-strong federal agency.
