In a beautiful piece of news on Thursday, television actor Vipul Roy welcomed his first child with his partner Melis Atici Roy. The actor took to social media today to share the good news. “& it’s a GIRLLLLLLLLL💕💕💕 Welcome our baby girl 08.09.2022Thank you for your love & blessings #love #happiness #baby #vipulroy,” he wrote on Instagram.
While Vipul is over the moon about the arrival of his baby girl, the actor, in an interview with Times Now Digital a few days ago, explained how he is super excited to embrace fatherhood.
“Absolutely yes, I have been looking forward to this day for a long long time because Melis and I got engaged in 2018. You are always waiting to see a part of you in this beautiful world and when my father used to say that when you came I could see my reflection in you, I never understood that part. But now, when it’s happening to me, I understand. There will be somebody who will have similar habits like mine,” he shared.
The actor talked about the beauty of fatherhood and joked that the respect one gets increases for sure. “There is somebody who is going to ask you to go out play, meet someone, they will be asking you things all the time. Usually, you are the one who is asking everyone, so the respect you get increases for sure. Jokes apart, I am extremely ready for this phase of my life and being called daddy,” he added.
Having been in the industry for a few years now, the actor has been a part of several shows including FIR, wherein he played the role of Bholu Pandit. The actor has also starred in Jeanie Aur Juju, Sahib Biwi Aur Boss, Dr Madhumati on Duty and Partners Trouble Ho Gayi Double among others.
