‘Feels Good To…’ Sameer Rizvi Says Confidence Grew After His Blazing 58-Run Innings

On Saturday eveing. Sameer Rizvi led DC to victory with an unbeaten 58 runs from 25 balls against PBKS in their final league games of the IPL 2025 season. “Feels good to get the POTM. Have been working hard for 2-3 months about my game. I didn’t have confidence before that I’d do well, but it has come after this innings. “When I went in, we needed more than 120. I took 4-5 balls, knew that the wicket was good, and then played my shots,” he explained. Sameer said as quoted from ESPNcricinfo.

What Happened In DC Vs PBKS Match

DC emerged victorious over PBKS by 6 wickets, thanks to Sameer Rizvi, who made 58 runs off 25 balls without getting out. After finishing 207, DC returned to the pavilion with three balls in hand. Karun Nair batted for just 27 balls and scored 44 runs. PBKS’s two openers, Shreyas Iyer and Marcus Stoinis, got off to a good start and the team managed 206-8 after being sent out to bat first. Iyer scored 53 runs from 34 deliveries and Stoinis played well with 44 not out from just 16 deliveries. One of the Delhi Capitals bowlers, Mustafizur Rahman, stood out with 3 for 33.
