Farzi Season 2 Update: Farzi has become a fan-favourite web series ever since its release on Prime Video with the audience praising its storyline and performances. Starring Shahid Kapoor, Raashii Khanna, Vijay Sethupathi and Kay Kay Menon in the lead roles, the show revolves around a small-time artist, who creates the perfect fake currency notes and gets involved in the high-stakes world of counterfeiting. Raashii Khanna, in a recent interview, spilled some beans about Farzi Season 2 and shared some updates.

While speaking to News18, Raashii Khanna revealed that Farzi Season 2 is on cards. She shared, “A sequel will definitely happen. Raj-DK are still in the writing stage. That’s what I was told by them. But they’re the right people to answer this question. Shahid is also as clueless as me. We’ve no idea what’s happening.”

She added, “We’re just waiting for a call from them that they’re ready with the script and that we can start shooting. I really can’t wait to start Farzi 2. Hopefully, we should begin shooting for it sometime this year. Let’s see what happens.”

Raashii played the role of Megha Vyas, who is an officer for the Reserve Bank of India and later joins Counterfeiting & Currency Fraud Analysis & Research Team (CCFART).

The series also stars Bhuvan Arora, Chittaranjan Giri, Zakir Hussain, Jaswant Singh Dalal, Amol Palekar, Kubbra Sait and Regina Cassandra in the pivotal roles.

On the work front, Raashii was last seen in the Tamil film Aghathiyaa with Jiiva, Arjun Sarja, Edward Sonnenblick, Matylda, Redin Kingsley, Shah Ra, Senthil, Radha Ravi, Rohini, Charle and Indraja Shankar.
