India and Australia have reached Adelaide ahead of the second Test of the five-match series beginning from December 6. Both the teams have begun their practice sessions wherein thousands of spectators gathered to watch their favourite Indian players practice after the practice session was made open for them. The video for the same went viral on the social media. The Indian team currently lead the five-match series by a margin of 1-0 and they will look forward on maintaining its lead.

Team India players were seen giving autograph to the fans who emerged to watch them play during the practice sessions, incidents of fans ‘fat shaming’ the players have also been reported. Soon after such incidents were reported, no fans will be allowed to enter the stadium during the practice session of the players. As per PTI as BCCI source said, “It was complete chaos. During the Australian training session, not more than 70-odd people turned up but during India’s session, 3000 came. No one expected so many fans to turn up,” a senior BCCI official told PTI on conditions of anonymity.”

“There was another fans’ day in Sydney (ahead of the fifth Test) which stands cancelled as players were very disturbed by the rude and insensitive comments that were passed (here)”, the source added.

The IND vs AUS 2nd Test will be very crucial for both India and Australia. The Indian team will look forward on winning the match and extend its lead in the five-match series on the other hand, the Aussies are surely in a bit of trouble as they will have the pressure to level the series. The Aussies are dealing with a bit of injury issues as Josh Hazlewood has been ruled out of the second Test whereas there have been some allegations of grouping between the players in the team management.
