Chelsea is going to play a match against Brighton on Saturday, which will be played away from home in the FA Cup. They are due to meet again in the Premier League a little later. The Blues, who are currently in the top four, are determined not to lose their impetus and look at the FA Cup as an excellent opportunity to win trophies this year. The Seagulls, on the other hand, will be eager to be able to fight hard at home for the top spot. Both teams are having difficulty with injuries, which is why we will have a look at the latest player availability updates just one day before the long-awaited confrontation begins.

Brighton’s Injury Concerns Ahead Of FA Cup Clash

Brighton will be without some of their most significant players when they welcome Chelsea to the FA Cup. Igor Julio has been ruled out for the season following hamstring surgery, and Jason Steele is out until spring following shoulder surgery. Ferdi Kadioglu will sit out this match with an ankle problem but should be back next weekend. James Milner is sidelined with a hamstring issue but should be back within the next two weeks. Yasin Abbas Ayari and Carlos Baleba are also out with muscular problems, adding to the injury list for Brighton.

Chelsea’s Injury Setbacks And Suspension Woes

Chelsea also have several key absentees to navigate through. Wesley Fofana is a long-term absentee with a hamstring problem, and Benoit Badiashile will not be risked for this fixture, but a return is hoped for at the weekend. Romeo Lavia will miss a few weeks, Enzo Maresca confirms. Mykhailo Mudryk is out through suspension for alleged use of a prohibited substance, with Chelsea issuing a statement of full backing for him. Young player Kellyman continues to work through a hamstring problem that has kept him out for most of the season to date.
