‘Don’t keep me in…’ – Wasim Akram On Taking Up Pakistan’s Coaching Job

The former Pakistani Fast bowler Wasim Akram has rebuffed suggestions of him being hired to be the national team’s coach, saying disrespectful and unmatched treatment of some ex-academy coaches has turned him away. The comment came just as Pakistan exited the group stage in dramatic fashion from the Champions Trophy having led to speculation over an impending reshuffle and possible firing of another coach.
