Karan Johar probably never imagined that a hit song from his movie could cause someone’s wedding to be called off. But that’s exactly what happened. A viral news report said that a groom in Delhi canceled his wedding after the DJ played “Channa Mereya” at the function.

The song, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, is about heartbreak and unreturned love. Arijit Singh’s emotional voice captures the deep sadness of losing someone you love.

According to the report, the groom remembered his ex-girlfriend when the song played and decided not to go ahead with the wedding. The baraat (wedding procession) returned home without the bride.

Karan Johar has now reacted to the news. He shared it on his Instagram Story and gave a one-word reaction which was ‘Huh????’
