The Demon Slayer fandom is buzzing with speculations following the recently unveiled Infinity Castle Arc movie poster that has surfaced. The poster has an ominous feel to it, with visual hints that bring back memories of the Mugen Train Arc, when the favorite Flame Hashira, Rengoku Kyojuro, was brutally killed by the Upper moon 3, Akaza. This time, everything indicates that another fan favorite will meet a similar demise. Let’s find out who it is!

Shinobu’s Fate Sealed?

The poster has a haunting picture of Shinobu, and around her, surrounded by eerie lighting effects  and dark silhouettes. This has given fans the impression that her highly anticipated fight against Upper Moon Two, Doma, will be animated at last and it won’t turn out so well for her. Fans who have read the manga know that Shinobu’s fight against Doma is one of the most brutal battles in the Infinity Castle Arc, but anime-only fans might not be prepared for the sad ending. A new poster has now hinted at Shinobu’s death because she has been replaced with the Flame Hashira’s spot.

Infinity Castle Arc

In the Infinity Castle Arc, Tanjiro and the members of Demon Slayer Corps are expected to go against Muzan Kibutsuji, who is the demon king. He was introduced in the first season but his powers were revealed in the Hashira Training Arc. In the last episode, Muzan appears at the Ubuyashiki Mansion and kills the head of the Demon Corps. As Tanjiro and the Hashira rush to the headquarters, they are suddenly transported into a deep descent to a mysterious space.

The Infinity Castle Arc trilogy will continue from the ending of the Hashira Training Arc and is likely to focus on Shinobu’s backstory and an intense extended fight between the upper moon two and the insect Hashira.
