Delhi Assembly Elections 2025: AAP Releases Second List Of Candidates; Manish Sisodia, Avadh Ojha Among Key Names

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) released the second list of candidates for the upcoming Delhi Assembly Elections 2025. In an early bid announcement, AAP has named 20 candidates who will contest in the polls scheduled to be held next year.

The key contenders include Former Dy CM Manish Sisodia, Avadh Ojha, Dinesh Bharadwaj, and others. Former Dy CM Manish Sisodia, three-time MLA from Delhi’s Patparganj seat will contest from Jangpura, while Civil Services Coach Avadh Ojha will fight from Patparganj.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) released the first list of candidates on November 21, 2024. It unveiled the names of 11 candidates to contest in the assembly polls next year. Among the 11 names, six are turncoats who joined the party after switching from Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The list includes names of Ex-BJP Leaders Brahm Singh Tanwar, Anil Jha, and BB Tyagi. Other leaders who joined the AAP include former Congress leaders Chaudhry Zubair Ahmad, Veer Dhingan, and Sumesh Shokeen.
