‘De De Pyaar De’, starring Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet, is all set to return with a sequel. R Madhavan has joined the film in the lead role as well. Tabu, who played Ajay Devgn’s ex-wife in the first part, will reportedly not return in the sequel.

De De Pyaar De 2 release date:

De De Pyaar 2 will release in theatres on November 14, 2025.

Announcing the release date and unveiling the first look, Ajay Devgn wrote, “Pyaar ka sequel hai crucial! Kya Ashish ko milega Ayesha ke parents ka approval? #PyaarVsParivaar #DeDePyaarDe2 in cinemas 14th November, 2025.”

The movie also stars Meezaan Jafri, Gautami Kapoor, Ishita Dutta, and Jaaved Jaaferi in pivotal roles. It is directed by Anshul Sharma and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Luv Ranjan, and Ankur Garg.

Meanwhile, its first part starred Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet in the lead roles with Javed Jaffrey, Jimmy Sheirgill, Alok Nath and Kumud Mishra in supporting roles. The movie focused on Ashish Mehra, a 50-year-old NRI investor and a divorcee, who falls in love with a 26-year-old independent woman, Aisha. Despite several problems and opposition from Ashish’s family and ex-wife Manju, the couple ended up together.

In the sequel, the plot will shift its focus to Ashish trying to get approval from Aisha’s family.

On the work front, Ajay was recently seen in ‘Son Of Sardaar 2’. He will reportedly work in ‘Shaitaan 2’ as well. According to Mid-Day, Ajay Devgn has two stories for Shaitan 2. The first one is an original script and the second script is said to an adaptation of Vash Level 2. For the unversed, Shaitan is the remake of the popular Gujarati film ‘Vash’.

A source told Mid-Day, “’Vash Level 2′ begins 12 years after the first part, with the protagonist realising that the evil force hasn’t entirely left his daughter.”

“Unlike Vash, which saw the protagonist’s wife and son dying, Shaitaan had a happy ending with Ajay’s character saving his daughter and reuniting with the family. As the two endings were different, Shaitaan’s makers decided to pen an original story for the second installment, while retaining the backstory,” the source added.

Ajay Devgn will work on Golmaal 5 soon. According to a report by Pinkvilla, the movie will go on floors by February/March 2026.
