Casemiro To Al-Nassr? Ronaldo Advocates For Former Teammate’s Saudi Switch

Reportedly, Cristiano Ronaldo has advised Al-Nassr’s management to seek the acquisition of Man United midfielder Casemiro in the winter transfer window. With Open Offers, the club of the Saudi Pro League is currently looking at getting the Brazilian to Riyadh. Casemiro’s weekly wages of £300,000 place a lot of strain on the team’s payroll, so they are considering selling him. Around £30 million is what the veteran midfielder is requesting the Red Devils, who have battled with form and fitness this season. Should a particular transaction go through, Casemiro might rejoin Ronaldo and improve Al-Nassr’s midfield offensively for their title goals.

Ronaldo Pushes For Casemiro’s Move To Al-Nassr

Rumours have it that Ronaldo has advised Al-Nassr to bring in Man United’s midfielder Casemiro in January transfer windows. Casemiro has been seeking for consistent playing time since Ruben Amorim took charge at Old Trafford; the Red Devils have therefore agreed his potential departure as he no longer fits the manager’s plans. The Daily Star says Ronaldo wants to get together with his earlier teammate in Saudi Arabia. Having personally asked Al-Nassr’s senior management to acquire the Brazilian’s autograph, the five-time Ballon d’Or recipient believes his knowledge could bolster the team and assist Stefano Pioli’s side in their Saudi Pro League title pursuit.

Casemiro’s Arrival Could Boost Saudi Pro League’s Reputation

Ronaldo thinks adding Casemiro, among Europe’s most experienced midfielders, would help to raise even more the Saudi Pro League’s visibility. As they try to vie for first honors, the leadership and expertise of the Brazilian could offer much-needed stability to Al-Nassr’s midfield. Over the last two years, The Daily Star also claims Al-Nassr once had a desire for Casemiro but rejected a transfer this year. Still, should Ronaldo urge the move, the Saudi team could restart their chase, so supplying Casemiro a clean slate in a different league might give Manchester United a chance to open up their wage bill.
