A lot of movie people do not have friends from the industry. Many film actors have seasonal friendships. Ruhi Singh, who was       Former Miss India had made her stunning debut with  Madhur Bhandarkar’s Calendar Girls. According to media reports, Madhur Bhandarkar, the director of Ruhi’s movie Calendar Girls had once told her that friends change every Friday in the Hindi industry.

During an exclusive interview with Times Now Digital, Ruhi spoke about coming from a non-filmy background and also reacted on Madhur Bhandarkar’s statement.

“I agree with him. If we talk about friends, the Hindi industry is rare to make friends. I am speaking from my personal experience. I would say that a lot of times I have observed,  it all depends on how well you are doing in life. If you have a lot of work, people are nice. Sometimes when things are rocky, people won’t even answer your calls. It is true. There are still amazing people out there. Self-growth is not about competition. If you do good work, if you are talented and have skills you will get promoted and have an audience”, Ruhi said.

The actress in 2014 had become the Femina Miss India Universal Peace and Humanity. She made her acting debut with Calendar Girls. Ruhi had also taken part in the Femina Miss India East 2011 and had later become the runner up of Femina Miss India contest.

“I was handpicked by Femina Miss India. I was Miss India. I also won a national prize for my country. I believe that the Miss India organization is the best platform for any girl, who aspires to get into the glamour industry. It makes you super confident. The preparation you go through, it trains you for any competition in life. The exposure is immense. I truly feel that it has been helpful for me, to find myself and a path I wanted to get into. I got a lot more clarity”, Ruhi remarked.

Ruhi was also seen in Ekta Kapoor’s web show Bang Baang, opposite  Faisal Shaikh aka Mr. Faizu. The actress who hails from Jaipur has 1.7 million followers on her Instagram handle. The diva often keeps posting fitness, cooking videos.

As an actress, Ruhi feels that struggles are a part and parcel of life. If one is ambitious and has set up high goals, challenging times will come. She always believes in learning from every experience.

I think difficulties are a part and parcel of life, if you are ambitious and if you want to do really well and have set up high goals for yourself. There are great and challenging times. I always believe in learning from every experience.
