BTS fame Jimin recently made the news after he underwent appendicitis surgery and also tested positive for COVID-19. The ARMY dropped sweet messages for the South Korean singer and wished him good health. Their worries were put to ease when Jimin shared a health update on Weverse days after his surgery. While his post went viral in no time with fans rejoicing that Jimin is doing well, Suga’s comment stole the show.

The rapper of the septet took to the post Jimin shared on Weverse and called himself a ‘senior of appendicitis’. He further added that he understands the pain that Jimin had to grow through because he experienced the same at the time of his surgery. It is not known when exactly Jin underwent the surgery as no reports are available on the same. But we sure love how he came forward to show concern and support his BFF Jimin.

Jimin’s full post read: “Sorry for making you worry. However, I think ill be able to get discharged soon! I’m recovering well and I’m making sure to take care and eat all 3 meals. Please just wait a little bit, I’ll recover quickly and go. Everyone, you were really worried, right? I am recovering well.”

With the BTS members’ social media handles, especially on Weverse and Instagram, ARMY gets a sneak peek of the boys’ bond. They often drop comments on each other’s posts and leave the BTS loyalists obsessing over their goofiness.

Coming to Jimin and his appendicitis surgery, the singer reported abdominal pain on January 30 and was rushed to the hospital. His surgery was successful but he was kept under in-patient care to battle COVID-19.

An official statement by BigHit Music on Jimin’s health read: “According to the medical staff, the surgery was successful and Jimin is currently recuperating after his procedure. He will be receiving a few days of in-patient treatment for Covid-19 in conjunction with postoperative care. He is currently experiencing a mild sore throat but is making a speedy recovery, and had no contact with the other members during the infectious stage.”
