BTS member Jhope has finally returned to the showbiz after serving in the military. He was recently spotted at the airport in Seoul, South Korea, as he headed off to LA for a project. The rapper further shared that he was nervous as he had not been on a flight for the past 20 months. He also posted some pictures on Instagram and looked dapper in his casual yet cool outfit. Jhope was also greeted by several fans at the airport, who were there to catch his glimpse.

Before the flight took off, Jhope said, “I’m taking a flight for the first time in 1 year and 8 months. I am nervous.”

Meanwhile, BTS’ leader RM also sent best wishes to Jhope before his journey.

The rapper was earlier in the news for throwing the ceremonial pitch at the second game between the Kia Tigers and Samsung Lions baseball match. The ceremony was first supposed to happen on October 22 but got postponed due to rain, leaving BTS ARMY disappointed.  It was also his first public event after his return from the military.

Jhope has expressed his love for the Kia Tigers team several times. The song ‘Ma City’ also has its reference and the lyrics read, “Jeollanam-do Gwangju baby – Put KIA in, start the engine, and bounce like crazy.”

After getting discharged from the military, Jhope thanked his fans and the reporters in a media interaction. He said, “I have to say a word of thanks. Firstly, thank you so much. I was discharged from the military in good health. Thank you really. I want to thank all the reporters who came this long way. And I was able to finish the service well and in good health thank to the fans.”

On the work front, Jhope released his solo album ‘Hope On The Street’. His next project has not been announced yet.

Other BTS members, V, Jungkook, Jimin and RM, will return from the military in 2025.
