BRS MLAs  boycotted Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s speech in the State Legislative Assembly. The walkout was staged in protest against Reddy’s comments on former Telangana Chief Minister and BRS Chief K Chandrashekar Rao. BRS leaders on Friday lodged a complaint against Reddy for his comments. The leaders stated that his statement was objectionable and crossed the line of decency. Reddy was also slammed by Rao’s son, KTR and daughter K Kavitha.

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy on Wednesday (March 12) had launched a scathing attack on KCR. He was speaking at an appointment letters distribution program. Reddy’s statement came in response to BRS’s remark that he falls short of KCR’s Stature. He said, “You (KCR) thought you had the stature, but the people sent you to the stretcher. If you continue like this, they might send you to the mortuary.”

BRS Leaders Condemn Revanth Reddy’s Statement

BRS MLC K Kavitha condemned Reddy’s statement and labelled them as “deeply objectionable.” She wrote on X, “The words spoken by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy addressing the leader of the movement and public leader, Honorable KCR, are deeply objectionable. I strongly condemn the comments of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. The inhumane Chief Minister should change his stance. Telangana society is observing such misdeeds…When the time comes, you will be punished like this!!”

Former Telangana Minister KTR advised the CM to “Get Well Soon.” He wrote on X, “I request his family members to take him to some mental health facility at the earliest or else in his frustrated state, he might start biting everyone around. Get well soon #CheapMinister.”
