Hollywood stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have finally settled their divorce after eight years. The paperwork was finalised on December 30 and Jolie’s lawyer James Simon also released an official statement after the settlement. Simon shared that Angelina is exhausted and has been focused on finding peace and healing.
Simon stated, “More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time, she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family.”
For the unversed, Angelina Jolie filed for divorce in 2016 and said that Brad Pitt allegedly was abusive toward her and their children. In 2019, they were declared divorced but the division of assets and child custody caused the delay in settlement.
Brad Pitt was previously married to Jennifer Aniston but got divorced in 2005. Meanwhile, the actor married Angelina Jolie in 2014 after a decade-long romance. He is now reportedly dating Ines de Ramon.
Meanwhile, Pitt and Jolie have six children together.
On the work front, Bra Pitt will next star in ‘F1’ with Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Javier Bardem, and Sarah Niles. The movie will release in theatres on June 27, 2025. Angelina Jolie will be seen in ‘Stiches’ with Louis Garrel, Ella Rumpf, and Garance Marillier.
