Global K-pop sensation Lisa, a member of Blackpink, continues to explore new ventures beyond music. After making her acting debut in The White Lotus Season 3, she is now set to release her solo album Alter Ego on 28 February. Alongside her music, Lisa has taken on an exciting project-launching her own comic book series.

Lisa Introduces ‘Lalisa Comics’

On 18 February, Lisa announced Lalisa Comics in collaboration with Zero Zero Entertainment. The venture kicks off with Alter Ego: The Official Comic, a 56-page graphic novel authored by Lisa and illustrated by renowned Japanese animator MinoMiyabi.

The comic is designed to give fans deeper insight into the five alter egos Lisa embodies in her album- Vixi, Roxi, Kiki, Sunni, and Speedi. Its description reads: “When three ruthless bullies trap Vixi in a virtual reality nightmare, her friends dive headfirst into the digital battleground… proving that while Vixi may work alone, she never has to fight alone.”

Zero Zero Entertainment CEO Josh Frankel told Variety, “Alter Ego presents a fresh take on musician-led comics. Working with Lisa is a significant milestone in the industry.”

Fans Celebrate Lisa’s New Venture

Lisa’s fans, known as BLINKs, have embraced her foray into comics. One fan on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, “Lalisa Comics sounds like an amazing project! Can’t wait to see her creativity shine.” Another added, “Lisa launching Lalisa Comics? She’s not just a star- 3creating her own universe. Watch out, Marvel!”

The comic is set for release on 24 March 2025, nearly a month after Alter Ego drops.

Meanwhile, Lisa has made waves in the acting world with her role as Mook in The White Lotus Season 3. She plays a hotel liaison who shares a romantic subplot with security guard Gaitok. The series is currently streaming on JioHotstar in India.
