Exciting news to all the BLACKPINK fans. The legendary K-pop girl group BLACKPINK is finally ready to release a new song after almost three years. It is their first collective comeback in 2 years and 8 months since their last album Born Pink was released in September 2022.

Their agency, YG Entertainment, has already announced that the band will drop their next song in July 2025. The fans, lovingly called BLINKS, will be able to listen to the track of this new song at the first-ever opening concert of BLACKPINK during their upcoming DEADLINE World Tour.

The opening of the tour will take place in Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium on July 5 or 6, during which the group will take the stage with the new track. The South Korean media publication Korean Newsen broke the news on Monday, June 23.

The group members Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa have a very special comeback because it is the first new song of a group after more than 1,000 days since they released their prior song. It is also the first project under a new contract with YG Entertainment.

Fans guessed and waited long to know when BLACKPINK would come back. YG had remained silent with brief and vague responses. But now, they have everything confirmed.

According to a statement revealed by YG Entertainment, “There was a lot of discussion about how to release this new song, and we decided to first reveal it at the Goyang concert, which is the starting point of the DEADLINE tour where we will be reunited with fans.”

The company also claimed that additional information such as promotion plans and the worldwide release date will be posted soon.

New excitement, a new song, and a world tour mean that the comeback of BLACKPINK is a new beginning for the group and all of its fans worldwide.
