BJP president JP Nadda took a dig at the opposition saying while BJP workers are carrying out relief work amid the COVID-19 pandemic the opposition parties have gone into quarantine.

Party workers in one lakh villages and hamlets are serving the needy to mark the occasion, Nadda said.

Accusing the Congress of trying to break the morale of the Union government in its fight against the pandemic and calling the coronavirus vaccine as Modi’s vaccine, Nadda said now they are screaming for vaccines.

‘Opposition parties have gone into quarantine’

“Those making noise about vaccine availability now are the ones who earlier raised doubts about jabs,” he said.

He further said that from two companies the government permitted 13 pharmaceutical companies to produce COVID-19 vaccines and soon 19 companies will do the same.

Bharat Biotech, which has been manufacturing 1.3 crore vaccines a month, will start manufacturing 10 crore vaccines per month by October.

On BJP’s ‘Sewa Diwas’ to mark the completion of seven years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government, the party president said that all MPs, ministers and MLAs from the saffron party will serve people in at least two villages.

‘Opposition leaders only visible in virtual press meets’

Taking a dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Nadda said while the BJP workers are standing with people during coronavirus, opposition leaders are only visible in virtual press meets.

In a series of tweets, the BJP president also extended his wishes to the “National Democratic Alliance (NDA) family” saying PM Modi’s leadership and guidance paved way for “Atmanirbhar Bharat”.

“Hearty congratulations to Modi Ji on the completion of seven years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji’s government, and best wishes to the entire NDA family. Under Modi Ji’s leadership, we will celebrate today’s day as Seva Diwas. Today crores of our workers will do public service in 1 lakh villages,” tweeted Nadda.

Nadda also flagged off COVID-19 relief material on completion of 7 years of Modi government.
