According to the cabinet’s decision, the Bihar Legislative Assembly will convene from December 1 to 6. During this period, all newly elected MLAs will be sworn in, the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly will be elected, and the Leader of the Opposition will be announced. The government has also approved several proposals aimed at promoting employment and technological development in the state.

A committee headed by the Chief Secretary has been formed to develop Eastern India as a new tech hub. Work in this direction is expected to begin within six months. Moreover, a high-level committee will also be formed to achieve the goal of making Bihar a global workplace, involving talented youth from the state and providing them with opportunities at the national and international levels.

While under urban development, concrete steps will be taken to develop new townships in nine divisional headquarters, including Patna, as well as Sonpur and Sitamarhi.
