Season 18 of the popular reality show Bigg Boss is all set to return to TV from October 5. While no official confirmation has been given on contestants, there is a buzz that actor and former Aam Aadmi Party Minister Chahat Pandey will be part of the Salman Khan show.

A Look At Chahat Pandey’s Acting Career

Chahat Pandey made her way into Indian Television in 2016 with the popular show Pavitra Bandha, in which she played the character of Mishto Roy Choudhary. She was then seen in 2019 show Hamari Bahu Silk and 2020 show Mere Sai- Shraddha Aur Saburi among many others.

Chahat Pandey’s Brush With Politics

The beautiful actor joined Aam Aadmi Party before the 2023 Madhya Pradesh Legislative assembly election. The former minister also contested the election from Damoh Assembly Constituency but lost it badly.

About Bigg Boss 18

Bigg Boss Season 18 will see Salman returning to the show as host. Colors TV shared the promo, with Salman’s voice revealing the show’s theme. “Bigg Boss dekhenge gharwaloon ka future. Ab hoga time ka taandav,” it says.

Sharing it on social media, the channel wrote, “Hogi entertainment ki poori wish jab Time Ka Taandav lekar aayega Bigg Boss mein ek naya twist. Are you ready for Season 18? Dekhiye Bigg Boss 18, jald hi, Colors aur @officialjiocinema par.”

Nia Sharm Steps Out Of The Show?

While there were reports that popular actor and host Nia Sharma will join the show as contestant, an exclusive report by Indian Express mentions that she is not part of it. The report further states that Nia is a part of Laughter Chefs, which has already been extended till January 2025. So it is unlikely that she would enter the Bigg Boss 18 house.

The confirmed names include actors Shoaib Ibrahim, Dheeraj Dhopar, Kedar Aashish, Niayti Fatnani, Shanthi Priya, Jannat Zubair and Mr Faisu, Deepika Arya, Thugesh, and Maxtern.
