It’s happening! Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar are set to tie the knot on July 16. Reportedly, it will be an intimate affair with a few selected ones on the guest list. The Bigg Boss 14 contestant had taken to his social media handle to make the official announcement of his wedding.
“With the blessings of our families, we are delighted to share this special moment with you all. We are elated to announce that our wedding is set to take place on 16th of July, 2021. We seek your love and blessings as we being this new chapter of love and togetherness. Love, Disha & Rahul. #TheDisHulWedding”, read his statement.
During an interaction with Times Now Digital, the singer had revealed his wedding plans. “We are planning very very soon. It is definitely going to a low-key wedding only with close friends and family because I prefer close-knit weddings. And let’s see whenever the pandemic relaxes a bit, we will definitely have that on priority. So, hopefully (it will be) very very soon”, he said.
He went on to add, “It will have to be restricted because, in COVID, not too many people are allowed. Even if I want 500 people to be at my wedding, it won’t be possible. Wedding is such a place where you want all your friends, your colleagues to be there (as) a part of your happiness. But with the pandemic, you can’t really predict what you are going to do. So, you know I think I will have a very low-key wedding with not too many people.”
To talk about the couple, the duo often posts mushy pictures on social media. On one such occasion, the actress had flaunted her cute smile in Rahul’s ‘marry me’ t-shirt from BB14. Fans of the couple may remember that it was on Disha’s birthday that Rahul had decided that he wanted her to be his life partner. He had worn a white t-shirt which had written ‘marry me’, and then proposed it to his ladylove in front of the national TV.
To talk about his work front, Rahul recently wrapped up the shooting for the adventure stunt based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi season 11. He along with Divyanka Tripathi, Shweta Tiwari and more were at Cape Town shooting for the show. He has also taken part in several TV reality shows like Indian Idol (2004), Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 7. To talk about Disha, she became famous with Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara., which also featured Nakuul Mehta.
