A Delhi court  said that RJD leader Lalu Yadav and his family acted like a criminal group. The court ordered that corruption and criminal conspiracy charges be formally brought against them in the Railways land-for-jobs scam.

Special Judge Vishal Gogne said that Yadav, who was also a former Union Railway Minister, treated his position like his own personal domain to run a criminal operation, according to news reports from the court.

“The CBI court has framed charges against Lalu Prasad Yadav, Misa Bharti, Tejashwi Yadav, Tej Pratap Yadav and Hema Yadav under sections 420, 120B and 13 IPC…Formal charges will be framed on January 29,” advocate Azaz Ahmed told news agency ANI.
