Rajkummar Rao has collaborated with production house Maddock Films again after the massive success of Stree 2. He will be seen in a comedy movie ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’, which will also focus on the concept of a time loop. The movie also stars Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead role. The movie was earlier scheduled to release in April 2025 but its release date has now been pushed.

Bhool Chuk Maaf will release in theatres on May 9, 2025.

Sharing the new release date, the makers wrote, “Apni haldi mein hi atak gaye Ranjan aur Titli! Kya unki shaadi ka din aayega kabhi? Pata chalega 9th May ko. Bhool Chuk Maaf sabhi cinema-gharon mein!”

The movie will focus on Rajkummar Rao’s character, who is excited for his marriage and is happy participating in his Haldi ceremony. Things take a turn when he keeps waking up on the 29th instead of 30th, his wedding day, and realises that he is stuck in a time loop.

After the massive of Stree 2, it was rumoured that Rajkummar Rao had increased his fee. But the actor, in an interview, completely dismissed the rumours and said that he does not want to burden his producers. While reacting to these claims, Rajkummar Rao told The Indian Express, “I read different figures every day. I’m not stupid to burden my producers. Being a part of the biggest blockbuster is not going to change me as an actor, money is just a byproduct of my passion. I want to work all my life so I keep looking for roles that surprise me, excite me, challenge and help me grow.”

On the work front, Rajkummar Rao will next star in ‘Maalik’. The movie will release on June 20, 2025.
