Bharti Airtel Partners With Blinkit To Deliver SIM In 10 Minutes – Share Hits 52-Week High

As per a recent news update, Bharti Airtel today has announced its partnership with quick home delivery and commerce platform BlinKit. The partnership would spawn into Airtel SIM cards being sold over and Blinkit ready to be delivered to the users within ten minutes. The service would now be available in 16 cities in the country, with plans to add more cities and towns for delivery over a period of time. 

After the delivery of the SIM card customers would be able to activate the sim through an Aadhar-Based KYC authentication. 

Customers would be given full freedom to choose between both  paid as well as prepaid plans or trigger an MNP for porting into Airtel’s network. 

15 Day Sim Activation Window

Beyond that, post the delivery customers would be free to seek help from Airtel’s customer care. New customers porting to Airtel can easily contact support by calling 9810012345 if in case they require help. Post-delivery it is mandatory for customers to activate the SIM within a 15-day window to ensure a smooth and hassle-free transition

. Commenting on the partnership, Siddharth Sharma, CEO – Connected Homes and Director of Marketing, Bharti Airtel said; “Simplifying customer lives is central to everything we do at Airtel. Today we are thrilled to partner with Blinkit for 10-minute SIM card delivery to customers’ homes across 16 cities and in due course of time we plan to expand this partnership to additional cities.”

Albinder Dhindsa, Founder and CEO of Blinkit, said, “To save customers time and hassle, we’ve collaborated with Airtel to deliver SIM cards directly to customers in select cities, with delivery in just 10 minutes. Blinkit takes care of the delivery, while Airtel makes it easy for customers to complete self-KYC, activate their SIM, and choose between prepaid or postpaid plans. Customers can also opt for number portability, all at their convenience.”

Bharti Airtel Shares Witness A New High

Bharti Airtel was able to range up a 3% rise today to hit a 52-week high of Rs 1,818 on BSE. However, the stock lost its momentum to trade only 2.3% higher in the mid-afternoon hours. The stock is up by 13.2% year to date in 2025.

The shares showcased a relentless rise after the company announced partnership with quick commerce platform Blinkit- for the delivery of sim cards to customers within ten minutes. The service would right now be available in16 cities including Metropolises such as Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Sonipat, Ahmedabad, Surat, Chennai, Bhopal, Indore, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune , Lucknow, Jaipur, Kolkata and Hyderabad. The company has further plans to add more more cities and town in their list over a period of time.
