Actress Bhagyashree, who made her debut with Maine Pyaar Kia, recently made a comeback in Bollywood. The actress featured in filmmaker A.L Vijay’s directorial, Thalaivii, which is based on the life of late actress and former CM of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalithaa. While Kangana Ranaut played the role of late Jayalalithaa, Bhagyashree essayed the role of his mother.
After the decent response to Thalaivii, Bhagyashree is all set to entertain the audience with her performance in Radhe Shyam. The film features South superstar Prabhas and Pooja Hedge in lead roles. While there’s time for Radhe Shyam to release, Bhagyashree recently shared her experience of working in the film with Prabhas.
In an exclusive conversation with Times Now Digital, Bhagyashree heaped praise on her co-star Prabhas. “And I would say, for Prabhas, he makes everyone feel a part of his family on the set. Jab vo aate hain set pe, toh har insaan se jaake milte hain (When he arrives on the set, he meets everyone. In fact, when he is on set, khaana hamesha unke ghar se hi aata hain (food always comes from his home). We all sit down together and have food from his house,” she said.
The actress further mentioned that the way Radhe Shyam is made is an absolute level of grandeur. “The sets have been very grand. The way they shoot is amazing – very organised, on dot to the point. Kabhi ye nahi mehsoos hota ki hum khaali set pe aake wait kar rahe hain ya ruka rahe hai.The shooting goes on very smoothly. And the director knows what he wants. There’s no extra shots being taken or anything like that,” added Bhagyahree while stating that it is a lovely experience to work on the sets of Radhe Shyam.
Continuing her chat with us, the 52-year-old also revealed how her family reacted to her swimsuit photos, that recently went viral on social media. She stated that there was no special reaction from her family because “that’s how we are on holidays. We just enjoy, let our hair down and have fun.”
On the personal front, Bhagyashree has been married to Himalaya Dasani for nearly three decades now. The actress is blessed with two young children – a daughter AVantika and a son named Abhimanyu Dassani. While her daughter hasn’t step foot in Bollywood yet, the actress’ son Abhimanyu marked his Bollywood debut with Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota.
