The world of entertainment is not all things glittery. There are many controversies and scandals that continue to shake the showbiz and telly world. Many celebrities from the film industry and television world have faced arrests in the past. But while the ones revolving around film names continue to grab the spotlight, not a lot is talked about what goes on behind the scenes in the telly world. Many celebrities from the Indian television fraternity, too, have been behind the bars for different reasons.

The Narcotics Control Bureau recently arrested Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa in connection with a drug case. It was alleged that NCB seized ganja from the comedienne’s residence in Mumbai. According to reports, the two admitted to consuming ganja during the investigation. However, there’s no confirmation on the same from Bharti and Haarsh. The two are now under judicial custody till December 4.

While Bharti and Haarsh’s arrests have shocked their fans, followers and the entertainment industry as a whole, there are other celebrities who’ve been arrested by the police in the past.

A report in PTI quoted  ACP Malvia Nagar, Rajendra Singh, saying, “Chaudhary was under the influence of alcohol when he created nuisance outside the hospital at around 1.30 am. When guards of the hospital tried to stop him, he had a scuffle with them.”

Prior to that, he was reportedly taken into custody for allegedly beating his girlfriend. In another incident in 2018, the actor was arrested after he allegedly attacked a director and vandalized the sets. A report in ANI claimed that the actor was allegedly under the influence of alcohol.
