After the Champions Trophy 2025, BCCI will release the new central contract list of Team India. There are certain players who have performed brilliantly and exceeded their pay-grade by showing their talent. But there are certain players who might even get demoted to B-Grade due to their poor form or etc.

Mohammed Siraj

Team India’s premier pacer, Mohammed Siraj has been brilliant for Team India and played a pivotal role along with Jasprit Bumrah and other pacers to make the Indian bowling formidable. Siraj’s variations with pace makes him one of the most ferocious bowlers in world cricket.

In recent times, Siraj has been out of touch and trying hard to find his form. Because of this, Siraj might get demoted to Grade-B.

Mohammed Shami

Another premier pacer, Mohammed Shami’s return to the Indian team is nothing short of an inspirational. After a year long injury, Shami returned to cricket field made a great comeback into the playing 11 in the recently concluded Champions Trophy 2025.

But there few questions among cricket fans and pundits related to his form and his position in the BCCI’s Central Contract. But his contributions cannot be neglected, he will retain his spot in BCCI’s Central Contract but might get his grade down.

Rishabh Pant

Another warrior who had a tough time in 2023 but made an inspirational comeback into the side. But since his return Pant’s form has dipped a bit, especially in white-ball format. Pant will be definitely retain his spot in the central contract but his grade might get down.
