Veteran Indian spinner and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) superstar Harbhajan Singh has backed Virat Kohli-led Team India to stage an impressive comeback on Day 4 of the ongoing ICC World Test Championship final. One of the most successful spinners for Team India in the oldest and the longest format, Harbhajan observed that the Kohli-led side had a ‘bad day’ on Day 3 of the Test Championship showdown against Kane Williamson’s New Zealand at the Rose Bowl in Southampton.

Closely monitoring the day’s proceedings of the Test Championship final, Harbhajan took to Twitter and extended his support to the Kohli-led side before the start of Day 4 at Southampton. “Team India had a bad day yesterday on the field.good thing is it’s past now..backing Team India to be at their best today to win all 3 sessions.. it is POSSIBLE.. do it boys @BCCI game on #ICCWTCFinal #INDvsNZ,” Harbhajan said in his tweet.

Taking cognisance of the tweet shared by the veteran spinner, fans of the Indian national team made a series of noteworthy comments on his recent post. Team India fans were not pleased with the delayed start due to the wet outfield on Day 4. Fans were quick to express their disappointment after rain washed out the first session of Day 4 on Monday. Here’s how netizens reacted after Harbhajan backed Team India to bounce back on Day 4 of the Test Championship showdown.

New Zealand pacer Kyle Jamieson turned tables for India on Day 3 by dismantling the formidable batting order of the Kohli-led side with his impressive fast-bowling spells. Jamieson, who represents Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), got the jackpot wicket of the Team India skipper in the opening session of the previous day.

The Kiwi pacer ended up taking a five-wicket haul to restrict India to 217 in their first innings. In reply, Ishant Sharma and Ravichandran Ashwin bagged the crucial wickets of Devon Conway (54) and Tom Latham (20) as New Zealand ended their innings on 101-2 at stumps.
