Avatar 3 Release Date And Trailer Unveiled At CinemaCon; James Cameron Shares Details About Third Part

Avatar, one of the most popular and engaging movies, was finally announced at the CinemaCon event. As the movie is set to return with its third part, the attendees of CinemaCon witnessed the very first glimpse of Avatar 3. The third part is officially titled Avatar: Fire and Ash, and its release date has also been announced.

According to Variety, ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash started with glaring visuals of Pandora, introducing two new Na’vi tribes. The scene begins with the fighting of both in the sky, where one Na’vi member is killed. And Jake Sully tells his beloved Neytiri, “We cannot live like this, baby. We cannot live with this hate.”

Avatar: Fire and Ash will be released in theaters on December 19, 2025.

The cast of Avatar 3 includes Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Stephen Lang, Sigourney Weaver, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Giovanni Ribisi, Dileep Rao, Matt Gerald, Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Edie Falco, Brendan Cowell, Jemaine Clement, Britain Dalton, Trinity Jo-Li Bliss, Jack Champion, Bailey Bass, Filip Geljo and Duane Evans, Jr. David Thewlis and Oona Chaplin will portray new character.

About The Avatar Franchise:

Avatar was released in 2009 under the direction of James Cameron. The movie shows the alien planet Pandora where human uses an Avatar to explore because the air is poisonous there. Jake, a paralyzed ex-Marine, uses Avatar and falls in love with a Na’vi woman. Further in the story, he connects with her and her known, so he decided to fight for them and protect their lives. This film got a 7.9 out of 10 IMDb rating with stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, and Sigourney Weaver.

On the other hand, its sequel is titled Avatar: The Way of Water, which was released in 2022. Its story revolves around Jake Sully, who lives with his newly found family on the moon, Pandora. Then, an old rival returned to destroy their peaceful living at that time. Jake stood up to protect their world. This film got a 7.9 IMDb rating with the same star cast.
