Aryan Khan, son of iconic actor Shah Rukh Khan, is all set to make his debut as a director with an OTT series. Netflix and Red Chillies Entertainment will come together for a special untitled Bollywood series in 2025. The series will be produced by Gauri Khan and will mark the debut of her son Aryan Khan.
Actor-politician Kangana Ranaut has shared the post on her story and praised his action for pursuing a career as a director instead of following his father’s footsteps as an actor. Resharing the story, Kangana wrote on Instagram, “It is great that film families are going beyond wanting to wear makeup, lose weight, doll up and think they are actors.” She continued, “We should collectively uplift the standards of Indian Cinema, that is the need of the hour. Those with resources often end up taking the easiest roads. We need more people behind the cameras. It’s good that Aryan Khan is taking the road less traveled. I look forward to his debut as a writer and filmmaker.”
Karan Johar, director and close friend of Shah Rukh Khan, was also seen celebrating the announcement of the series and wrote a heartfelt note. He wrote, “Love you Aryan!!! I am so so so proud of you and can’t wait for the world to see your incredible series.!!! It’s going to rock and roll.”
Alia Bhatt wrote a simple comment, “Can’t wait!”. Actor and sister of Aryan, Suhana Khan, was also seen beaming with pride and wrote a playful message: “Lots of laughs, drama, action and a little bit of trouble just like it always is with you. I cannot wait! So proud”. Aryan’s friend and actor Ananya Pandey also cheered him up with a short and sweet message.
The series might be named as ‘Stardom’, and is expected to feature actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar, and Bobby Deol.
