Arvind Kejriwal Net Worth REVEALED: In Election Affidavit, AAP Chief Declares Family Net Worth Of Rs…

Convener of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Arvind Kejriwal, filed his nomination papers for the upcoming New Delhi Assembly constituency election

The AAP chief, who won three times in 2013, 2015, and 2020 from Delhi, also declared his net worth. He is contesting against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Parvesh Verma and Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit. The election will take place on February 5.

According to the papers submitted byArvind Kejriwal  he has declared a family net worth of Rs 4.2 crore, including Rs 1.73 crore as his personal net worth.

Five years ago, he declared assets worth Rs 3.4 crore, marking an increase of Rs 1.3 crore from 2015. Sunita Kejriwal has 320 grams of gold worth ₹25 lakh and 1 kg of silver worth ₹92,000, as per the affidavit.

Remember, Kejriwal had resigned as chief minister of Delhi in September 2024. He has been accused by the BJP of over-spending in the Flag Staff residence, termed ‘Sheesh Mahal’ by his political opponents. where he lived as chief minister. 

Kejriwal won the New Delhi seat in 2013, defeating Sheila Dixit by over 25,000 votes. He won the seat again in 2015, defeating BJP’s Nupur Sharma by over 31,000 votes. In 2020, the last assembly election, Kejriwal defeated BJP’s Sunil Yadav by over 21,000 votes. Congress candidate Romesh Sabharwal got just 3,220 votes in the New Delhi seat in the 2020 assembly elections.

Arvind Kejriwal’s Movable Assets: ₹3.4 lakh, including ₹2.96 lakh in bank savings.

Sunita Kejriwal’s Movable Assets: Approximately ₹1 crore.

Kejriwal’s Immovable Assets: ₹1.7 crore.

Sunita Kejriwal’s Immovable Assets: ₹1.5 crore.

Cash In Hand: Kejriwal has ₹50,000, and Sunita Kejriwal has ₹42,000.

Vehicles: Kejriwal does not own a vehicle, while Sunita Kejriwal owns a Baleno car.

Non-Agricultural land: Kejriwal owns land in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, valued at ₹1.7 crore.

Property Ownership: Kejriwal does not own a house, but Sunita Kejriwal has a house in Gurugram valued at ₹1.5 crore.

Annual Income (2019-20): Kejriwal earned ₹1.57 lakh, rising to ₹7.2 lakh in 2023-24.

Sunita Kejriwal’s Income Increased from ₹10.4 lakh in 2019-20 to ₹14.1 lakh in 2023-24.

Annual Income (2020-21): Kejriwal earned ₹44.9 lakh.

Bank Savings And investments: Kejriwal has ₹2.8 lakh in FDRs, term deposits, and savings in SBI. Sunita Kejriwal has ₹46 lakh in similar financial instruments.

Precious Metals: Sunita Kejriwal owns 320 grams of gold worth ₹25 lakh and 1 kg of silver worth ₹92,000.

Kejriwal resigned as Delhi’s Chief Minister in September 2024 and has faced allegations from the BJP regarding overspending on the Flag Staff residence, dubbed the ‘Sheesh Mahal’ by critics.

Kejriwal first won the New Delhi seat in 2013, defeating Sheila Dikshit by over 25,000 votes. He retained the seat in 2015, winning by over 31,000 votes against BJP’s Nupur Sharma. In the 2020 Delhi Assembly elections, Kejriwal triumphed again, defeating BJP’s Sunil Yadav by over 21,000 votes, while Congress candidate Romesh Sabharwal secured only 3,220 votes.
