The Superstar of the millennium, Amitabh Bachchan is currently entertaining the viewers with his impeccable hosting skills in the 13th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati. While the actor often shares some interesting anecdotes and trivia about his life during the show, the actor recalled an incident when he suffered a serious hand injury with a firecracker during Diwali.
While having a conversation with the contestant Manoj Kumar Goyal, the Chehre actor shared in one of the Diwali festivals, he tried to burn the anar (flowerpot) in his hand and it got exploded and because of that, his hand was burnt. He said that his hand was numb and looked like tandoori chicken. These words from the veteran star made the audience in the show quite worried. But the actor made them smile with witty one-liner.
In the last year, Amitabh Bachchan had shared a glimpse at how his burnt fingers have healed over decades. Sharing the picture of his fingers on Twitter, the actor wrote, “Fingers … the most difficult element of the human body to restructure .. need movement continuously .. stop movement they become stiff .. I know .. blew my hand off with a Diwali bomb .. took me 2 months to move my thumb to my index finger !! .. & now how creative.”
On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan will be next seen in Runway 34 along with Ajay Devgn, Angira Dhar, Rakul Preet and Ajey Nagar. While the film was earlier titled MayDay, the makers changed it to Runway 34. Sharing this news, Ajay had tweeted, “MayDay is now Runway 34. A high-octane thriller inspired by true events that is special to me, for reasons more than one! #Runway34 – Landing on Eid, April 29, 2022, as promised.”
Produced and directed by Ajay Devgn, the film will release on April 29, 2022 during the Eid weekend and will lock horns with Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria’s Heropanti 2 at the box office. The latter is directed by choreographer-turned-director Ahmed Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
Apart from Runway 34, Amitabh Bachchan also has Brahmastra, Jhund and Uunchai under his belt.
