Rajkumar Periasamy’s Amaran hit the screens on October 31 and has been running successfully in theaters for four weeks. The film has so far collected Rs 322 Crore worldwide, and it seems fans are reluctant to let it leave theaters. Given the phenomenal response to the Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi starrer, its OTT release was also delayed. Earlier, the film was scheduled to stream online from November 28.

When and where to watch Amaran on OTT

After a long wait, the film’s new OTT release date has been announced by the OTT platform. The superhit Tamil film will start streaming n Netflix from December 5, announced the OTT giant. On it’s official Instagram, Netflix wrote, “Remember the date. Remember his name. Major Mukund Varadarajan. 🔥

About Amaran

The film is directed by Rajkumar Periasamy and produced under Kamal Haasan’s banner Raaj Kamal Films International. It features talented actors such as Sivakarthikeyan, Sai Pallavi alongside Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose, Lallu, Shreekumar, Shyam Mohan, Ajaey Naga Raaman, Mir Salman, Gaurav Venkatesh and Abhinav Raj. The music of the film has been composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar where as C.H. Sai has taken done the cinematography.

Amaran Plot

Amaran is a military-drama film based on the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan, a national hero and commissioned officer in the Indian Army’s Rajput Regiment. The film delves into the depths of his life, both personal and professional, showcasing what a remarkable person he was.

Mukund demonstrated exceptional courage during a counterterrorism operation in Jammu and Kashmir, ultimately sacrificing his life while fighting the enemies. He was posthumously awarded the Ashok Chakra for his bravery .
