‘Alpha’, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in the lead roles, is the new addition to the YRF Spy Universe. The makers have finally announced the release date of ‘Alpha’ but are yet to unveil the actors’ looks from the film. YRF Spy Universe includes Bollywood blockbusters ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Tiger 3’, ‘Pathaan’, ‘War’ and the upcoming ‘War 2’. These spy movies are connected to each other with actors making cameos or special appearances. It has also been speculated that ‘Alpha’ is likely to have cameos from Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan or Shah Rukh Khan. 

Soon after the makers announced the release date of ‘Alpha’, fans wondered if any actor from other YRF Spy Universe movies would be seen in it. Netizens mostly speculated Hrithik Roshan’s name and hoped that the actor will reprise the role of Kabir from ‘War’. Hrithik also had a special appearance in Salman Khan-starrer ‘Tiger 3’ and is currently shooting for ‘War 2’ with Kiara Advani. 

Announcing the release, the official Instagram page of YRF wrote, “On Christmas 2025, #ALPHA will rise! Get ready for an action-packed holiday… 25th Dec, 2025.” 

Earlier, Salman Khan made a grand entry in Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Pathaan’ and received immense love from their fans. Meanwhile, SRK was also seen in ‘Tiger 3’. 

Talking about the future of YRF Spy Universe, Jr NTR will be seen in ‘War 2’ with Hrithik Roshan but the details about his roles have not been disclosed yet. Fans can also expect the sequel to ‘Pathaan’ and the ‘Tiger’ franchise. 

‘Alpha’ will hit the theatres on December 25, 2025, coinciding with Christmas next year.  

On the work front, Alia Bhatt is gearing up for the release of Vasan Bala’s directorial ‘Jigra’ with Vedang Raina. The movie will release on October 11, 2024. She was last seen in ‘Hearts Of Stone’, streaming on Netflix. 

Sharvari was last seen in ‘Vedaa’ with John Abraham.
